Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers, syntype queens, syntype males (numbers not stated). Primary type localities: Kazakhstan: Ak-Tash, 2400 m., 29.vi.1922 (N.N. Kuznetzov-Ugamskij), Uzbekistan: N of Tashkent, between Tamerlanovka and Bugunyu (N.N. Kuznetzov-Ugamskij). Primary type depository: NHMB (probably also ZMUM). Primary type specimens: CASENT0911577, CASENT0917850. Type notes: Shattuck, 1994: 142, cites 6 worker, 1 queen, 1 male syntypes NHMB.
