Type notes: 1) Holotype is an ergatoid male, not a worker (Forel, 1892h: 461). 2) Seifert, 2003a: 269, treated as paratypes 4 workers (NHMB, NHMW), apparently from the same series as the holotype; but Forel, 1890c stated in the original description that the holotype was “a single worker”.
