Primary type information: Type-material: 2 syntype queens, 1 syntype male. Type-locality: 1 queen Indonesia: Irian Jaya (“Dutch New Guinea”), Maffin Bay, 12.vi.1944 (E.S. Ross), 1 queen, 1 male with same data but viii.1944. Type-depositories: BMNH, CASC. Type notes: Boudinot, 2014: 97, regards the single queen (12.vi.1944) as holotype, the queen + male (viii.1944) as paratypes, but there is no indication of such a nomination in the original description where “type and allotype” is used.
