Primary type locality: Democratic Republic of the Congo (“Belgian Congo”): Niangara, “from the stomach of a frog (Xenopus muelleri)” (H.O. Lang & J.P. Chapin). Primary type depository: unknown (not in MCZC, apparently lost (Bolton, 1973b: 296)).
