Primary type information: Primary type material: neotype worker (by designation of Kohout, 2007c: 197). Primary type locality: neotype Papua New Guinea: East New Britain Prov., Lowland Agricultural Experimental Station, Kerevat, 4°20’S, 152°02’E, ca 50 m., 14.vii.1984, acc. 84.67 (R.J. Kohout). Primary type depository: ANIC. Type notes: 1) Original type data: holotype queen Papua New Guinea: Bismarck Archipelago, Credner I., 7.viii.1896, in stomach of Pachycephala melanura (F. Dahl), not in MHNG, MNHU, apparently lost. 2) Kohout, 2007c records a further 4 workers, 2 queens from the same series as the neotype.
