Primary type depository: MSNG. Primary type specimen: CASENT0904020 (lectotype). Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 1 paralectotype worker. Secondary type locality: same as for lectotype. Secondary type depository: MSNG. Type notes: 1) Baroni Urbani, 1977e: 86, and Shattuck, 1994: 155, cite 10 worker syntypes in NHMB. 2) Seifert et al., 2024: 37, cites Kuznetsov-Ugamsky as the collector. 3) Bolton says type specimens may also be in ZMUM.
