Type-locality: U.S.A.: Colorado, nr Colorado Springs, Manitou, vii.-viii.1903 (W.M. Wheeler) (by restriction of Creighton, 1950a: 278). Type-depositories: AMNH, LACM, MCZC. Type notes: Other original localities include Cheyenne Creek, Red Rock Canyon, and Willams Canyon, all Colorado, nr Colorado Springs.
