Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: U.S.A.: Florida, Leon County, Apalachicola National Forest, off forest service road 373, T1S, R2W, S19, pine flatwoods habitat, stand of Pinus palustris Mill., nest in soil, 20.ix.1997 (D. Lubertazzi). Primary type depository: MCZC.
