Primary type information: Type-material: holotype queen. Type-locality: Australia: Western Australia, Yalgoo, 1905 (W. Michaelsen & R. Hartmeyer). Type-depository: unknown (probably destroyed). Type notes: Taylor, 1990d: 33, writes that the “holotype cannot be found in any major European ant collection. It was probably returned to Hamburg by Forel and destroyed there during World War II. This species inquirenda will presumably remain unrecognisable.”
