Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype (?) male. Primary type locality: North Africa: (“Habitat in Barbaria Dom. Desfontaines.”) (no further data). Primary type depository: unknown. Type notes: 1) No indication of number of specimens is given. 2) Barbaria = North African coast from Morocco to Libya. 3) Zimsen, 1964: 424, did not find any material of this taxon in ZMUC or ZMUK. 4) Agosti, 1990b: 1486, 1487, reports no types known to exist, and not present in MNHN.
