Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype (?) male. Primary type locality: “Habitat in Barbaria” (= North African coast from Morocco to Libya), Dom. Desfontaines. Primary type depository: unknown. Type notes: 1) No indication of number of specimens is given. 2) Zimsen, 1964: 424, did not find any material of this taxon in ZMUC or ZMUK. 3) Agosti, 1990b: 1486, 1487, reports no types known to exist, and not present in MNHN.
