Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker (?). Primary type locality: U.S.A.: Minnesota, nr Hibbing, 13.viii.1941 (W.F. Buren). Primary type depositories: USNM. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 128 paratype workers, 53 paratype queens, 41 paratype males. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: ISUI, LACM, USNM, MZSP. Type notes: 1) Buren, 1942 does not specify the sex/caste of the holotype, assumed here to be a worker. 2) Buren, 1942 comments that there are also “a few paratypes in the collection of Herbert T. Dalmat of New York City”, present whereabouts unknown.
