Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 92 paratype workers, 12 paratype queens, 1 paratype male. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: ISUI, LACM, USNM, MZSP. Type notes: 1) Buren does not specify the sex/caste of the holotype, assumed here to be a worker. 2) There are also “a few paratypes in the collection of Herbert T. Dalmat of New York City”, present whereabouts unknown.
