1) Other original syntype localities: India: NW Himalaya, Deota (Smythies), and Russia: E Siberia, S Ussuri (no collector’s name); the Russian specimens were excluded from Myrmica fortior by Radchenko & Elmes, 2001b: 254, as misidentifications. 2) Material from Russian far east excluded from Myrmica fortior by Radchenko & Elmes, 2001b: 254.
