Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated, “many”), 3 syntype queens, syntype males (number not stated, “many”). Primary type locality: Mexico: Hidalgo, Guerrero Mill, 1913 (W.M. Mann). Primary type depository: USNM (perhaps also MCZC). Type notes: Weber, 1950c: 207, adds the data “8500-9000 ft, E slope Mt. range E Pachuca”, presumably from syntype labels.
