Secondary type localities: 15 paralectotype workers, 1 paralectotype queen with same data as lectotype, 1 paralectotype queen Mt Valérein, 11 paralectotype workers Paris, 4 paralectotype workers Paris, 6.5.1917, 1 paralectotype queen Issy-Pes-Moulineaux, 19.ix.1915, 1 paralectotype worker Cahors, 1 paralectotype worker Le Pouligum, 7 paralectotype workers Prades, 12 paralectotype workers Banyuls, 4 paralectotype workers Meriel S. et O., 2 paralectotype workers Sayat, P. de Dôtne, 3 paralectotype workers St Aquan, M. Pic, 1 paralectotype worker Hyéres (de Gaulle), 1 paralectotype queen La Héve, 1.x.1916, 3 paralectotype workers Fonteney aux Roses, v.1915, 2 paralectotype queens Haisans-Saff. Secondary type depositories: ISNB, MSNG. Type notes: 1) Original description also includes syntype males (number not stated). The lectotype was first labelled by Pisarski but never published. 2) Original data merely says “Belgium and France, common throughout”.
