Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: China: 37.1852°N, 102.7844°E, Tianshu station-1.2S, 2939 m., 4.viii.2011-044 (R. Schultz). Primary type depository: SMNG.
Secondary type information:
Secondary type material: 2 paratype workers. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depository: SMNG.
Type notes:
1) The authors add that a further 27 paratype workers are stored in ethanol in SMNG. 2) Earlier in the same publication, p. 95, the type-data is slightly different, citing 21 paratype workers and 14 paratype males in ethanol “all from the same nest sample”. In addition, 3 worker paratypes are quoted as being in MHNG.
