Type notes: Donisthorpe, 1929a also mentions 10 workers (BMNH): India: Sikkim, Khamba Jong, 15000-16000 ft, 15-30.vii.1903, (Tibet Expd.) (no collector’s name); these are not regarded as paratypes (Radchenko & Elmes, 2001b: 259, Radchenko & Elmes, 2010: 176).
