Primary type locality: Dominican Republic (“Saint-Domingue”): Rancho Arriba, edge of River Nisao, 19.iv.1850 (A. Sallé). Primary type depositories: MHNG, MSNG. Type notes: 1) Baroni Urbani, 1978b: 493, cites 5 worker, 1 queen syntypes (4w, 1q MHNG, 1w MSNG). 2) According to Horn & Kahle, 1935: 99, Guérin’s Hymenoptera material was split between MNHN, MSNG, and ZSBS, but some are also present in NNML.
