Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers, queens, males (numbers not stated, “a nest”). Primary type locality: Dominican Republic (“Saint-Domingue”): Rancho Arriba, edge of River Nisao, 19.iv.1850 (A. Sallé). Primary type depositories: MHNG, MSNG (perhaps also MNHN, ZSBS).
