Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype major worker. Primary type locality: Mexico: Michoacan (no collector’s name) (received from Emery). Primary type depository: unknown (perhaps MSNG). Type notes: Wilson, 2003a: 779, says that type material of this taxon could not be found.
