Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype major workers, syntype minor workers (numbers not stated, “a few”). Primary type locality: Brazil: Rio de Janeiro, Itapagipe, 19.xi.1925 (T. Borgmeier). Primary type depository: MZSP. Type notes: 1) Wilson, 2003a: 779, says that the depository is unknown, and that types are not in MZSP. 2) All syntypes are at MZSP (Ulysséa et al., 2025: 9).
