Pheidole gigliolii Menozzi, 1935b: 193, fig. 2 (s.) GUYANA. Neotropic.
Primary type information: Primary type material: 9 syntype major workers. Primary type locality: Guyana (“British Guiana”): Great Falls, Demerara (N. Beccari). Primary type depository: unknown (perhaps IEUB, MZUF; Wilson, 2003a: 779, says that type material of this taxon could not be found).
