Primary type locality: Brazil: Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre (Gloria), 3.v.1926 (P. Buck). Primary type depository: unknown (perhaps MNRJ (Wilson, 2003a: 779, says that type material of this taxon could not be found)). Type notes: Mônica Antunes Ulysséa says that there are 3 syntype specimens at MZSP.
