Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype major worker. Primary type locality: Argentina: Misiones, San Pedro (F. Silvestri). Primary type depository: MSNG. Type notes: Wilson, 2003a: 498, designates a lectotype major and a paralectotype minor worker, but in the original description Emery stated that he had only “one soldier”.
