Primary type information: Primary type material: neotype worker (by designation of Guerrero, 2018: 499). Primary type locality: neotype Colombia: Magdalena, Santa Marta, Calabazo, roadside to Pueblito-PNN Tayrona (11.2825°N, -74.0239°W), 22.i.2017, series RJG01286 (R. Guerrero). Primary type depository: ICNB. Type notes: 1) Guerrero also designates 10 workers, 2 queens, 2 males from the same series as “paraneotypes”, a category not recognised by ICZN. 2) Original type data: worker(s) French Guiana: Cayenne, Mus. Dom. Bosc. (no collector’s name), no type material known to exist (Zimsen, 1964: 472).
