Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Germany: Crefeld (Mink). Primary type depository: unknown. Type notes: According to Horn & Kahle, 1935: 78, Foerster’s formicid types are in MNHU. However, DuBois, 1998b: 230, says that the holotype could not be located, and Seifert & Schultz, 2009b: 271, state that “According to our own search in German collections type material of Förster is completely destroyed”.
