Primary type depository: NHRS. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 7 paralectotype workers. Secondary type locality: same as for lectotype. Secondary type depository: NHRS. Type notes: 1) Kempf, 1968b: 381, suggests the type locality is probably Panama: Archipelago de las Perlas, San José. 2) Kempf, 1972b: 87, has the same locality but in Costa Rica rather than Panama.
