Type-material: holotype worker. Type-locality: U.S.A.: Florida, Highlands County, Archbold Biological Station, 24.vi.1996, Florida scrub habitat, in branch of Pinus elliottii (M. Deyrup). Type-depository: MCZC.
Secondary type information:
Paratype-material: 121 paratype workers, 7 paratype queens, 5 paratype males. Paratype-locality: same as for holotype. Paratype-depositories: ABSV, BMNH, FSCG, LACM, MCZC, USNM, WEMC.
