Primary type information: Type-material: holotype worker. Type-locality: Malaysia: Borneo, Sepilok, Sandakan, 17.iii.1981 (K. Masuko). Type-depository: MBSM. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 7 paratype workers. Paratype-locality: 2 paratype workers with same data as holotype, 5 paratype workers Indonesia: E Kalimantan, Sangkimah, Kutai N.P., P2 soil-2, 13.ix.1993 (Sk. Yamane). Paratype-depositories: BMNH, KUEC, MCZC, MZBJ, SKYC.
