Type-material: syntype workers (number not stated, “workers from a colony of several hundred”). Type-locality: South Sudan (“Anglo-Egyptian Sudan”): w slopes of Imatong Mts, 4700 ft, 3.viii.1939, no. 1420 (N.A. Weber). Type-depositories: AMNH, MCZC (perhaps also in USNM).
