Primary type information: Type-material: lectotype worker (by designation of Longino, 2003a: 114). Type-locality: lectotype Mexico: (no further data) (Sumichrast). Type-depository: NHMW. Type notes: Longino, 2003a: 114, says a Norton-collected worker was designated as lectotype, but the original description makes it clear that the syntypes were collected by Sumichrast, “collected by Sumichrast, received by Norton”.
