Type-material: holotype worker. Type-locality: Democratic Republic of Congo (“Belgian Congo”): Ubangi Dist., Libenge, 25.x.1910 (Schubotz). Type-depository: Zoological Museum Hamburg (Stitz, 1916: 371).
Type notes:
Hamburg zoological museum was destroyed in World War II; but holotype may perhaps be in MNHU or ZMUH.
