Primary type information: Primary type material: 3 syntype minor workers. Primary type locality: 2 workers Singapore: “Sing. 28” (A.R. Wallace), 1 worker “Singapore Wallace” (A.R. Wallace). Primary type depository: OXUM (perhaps also BMNH). Type notes: 1) Original description also mentions Borneo as a second type locality; perhaps this specimen is in BMNH. 2) Collected by Wallace, hence Borneo locality probably Borneo (East Malaysia: Sarawak).
