Primary type specimen: CASENT0905524. Type notes: 1) França et al., 2024: 3, cite a lectotype (CASENT0905524) in MSNG. 2) Emery, 1920d described Camponotus wytsmani from a holotype only. The lectotype designation by MacKay, 2025: 466, is therefore invalid.
