Primary type material: holotype worker. Primary type locality: Malaysia: Selangor, Gombak Valley, ca 25 km. N Kuala Lumpur, nr Ulu Gombak Field Studies Centre, 12.ii.1992 (U. Maschwitz). Primary type depository: NHMB.
Secondary type information:
Secondary type material: 17 paratype workers, 5 paratype queens, 7 paratype males. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype. Secondary type depositories: FRKL, KDPC, MCZC, MSNG, NHMB.
Type notes:
The paratype queens and males are referred to as “gynetypes” and “allotypes”.
