Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype queen. Primary type locality: Virgin Is: St Croix I.: (“Habitat in Insula St. Crucis Americae Dr Pflug”). Primary type depository: ZMUK. Type notes: 1) Zimsen, 1964: 424, found only a single specimen in ZMUK, but earlier Forel, 1905e: 161, had cited material in ZMUC. 2) Perhaps these records represent a single specimen as ZMUK material is stored in ZMUC.
