Temnothorax artvinense Seifert, 2006: 10, figs. 11-13 (w.q.) TURKEY. Palearctic.

Primary type information: Type-material: holotype worker. Type-locality: Turkey: 5 km. S Artvin, ca. 41.17°N, 41.77°E, 1000 m., 27.vi.1993, no. 1164 (A. Schulz, K. Vock & M. Sanetra). Type-depository: SMNG. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 28 paratype workers, 2 paratype queens. Paratype-locality: same data as holotype but nos. 1162, 1164, 1165. Paratype-depositories: PCAS, SMNG.
