Primary type information: Primary type material: holotype queen. Primary type locality: Malaysia: Malacca, “MALCA” (A.R. Wallace). Primary type depository: OXUM. Type notes: 1) Smith, 1858a: 22, says the specimen is in “Coll. W.W. Saunders, Esq.” (= OXUM). 2) The holotype is badly damaged and mounted on a very corroded pin; wings and gaster are missing (Bolton (unpublished notes) 1978).
