Type notes: 1) Type locality is now in France (after Fabricius, 1775: 392, “Habitat in Alsatia”); the latter was confirmed by Latreille, 1802a: 181, “Linnée avoit reçu cette espèce de l’Alsace”. 2) One Linnaean specimen in LSLC (Day & Fitton, 1978: 196).]
