Type notes: Radchenko, 2007: 38, cites 2 worker syntypes in ZMHF; 1 worker is now the lectotype of Tapinoma glabrellum, the other (labelled "Spec. type No. 5093 Formica glabrella Nyl.") is now assigned to Tapinoma subboreale (Seifert et al., 2024: 36).
