Primary type information: Primary type material: syntype workers (number not stated). Primary type locality: Germany: Nassau, Obersbach footpath, viii.1851 (P.A. Schenck). Primary type depository: probably SMFM (perhaps also UMPU). Type notes: 1) Seifert, 1988a: 161, does not include type material, but Seifert, 1990: 10, cites “two worker specimens ex coll. Schenck”, SMFM, without saying if these are type material. 2) Schenck’s Hymenoptera specimens originally in UMPU (Horn & Kahle, 1936: 242); later transferred to SMFM.
